Dive into my best tips for sustainable weight loss, vibrant health, and unstoppable body confidence.
What is keto?
It's a diet made up of approximately 70% fat, 25% protein, and 5% carbs with the intention of putting your body into ketosis where it burns fat as its primary source of fuel. It sounds like a great idea... until you realize what it actually does to your body.
10 Reasons You Can Count Me Out:
1. It's utterly unnecessary.
- People are singing keto's praises because of its weight loss effects. But keto is not some magical diet, it's simply forcing you into a calorie deficit by all but eliminating an entir...
Hey!! I hope this blog finds you well. I hope it finds you happy with your job, in a loving relationship, with overflowing self confidence, health, and joy.
But what if it isn't? What if this blog is finding you barely able to make it out of bed. What if it finds you with that too-familiar dark cloud hanging overhead? What if it finds you just trying to make it through the day?
Well, I'm hoping, if that's you... today's episode might help.
Because today we're talking about the inextricable link between your diet and your mood, and how good ...

You may know, I don't generally hand out 'DO NOT EAT' lists to my clients. I feel like that usually sets us up for feeling deprived at least, or it sets us up for a full on binge fest and self-loathing spiral at worst.
However, it is hard to argue that some foods (and beverages) just do not fit in very well with a weight loss plan. (Just ask my client, 'Carol', down below.)
So today I am bringing you a list of the worst foods for weight loss... with this caveat: if you know that making some...

I'm going to be real with you... personal trainer or not, I am NOT a morning workout person.
If I had to choose between waking up 20 minutes early to do a 20 minute workout, or doing a 90 minute workout after 12 pm... 90 minutes would win every time.
Nonetheless, my interest has been peaked lately. Over the years, I've heard more and more, just how beneficial it is to move your body first thing upon waking.
Being a bit of a questionner tho...
If you listened to last week's podcast episode, you'll remember my girl Gio's woeful complaints about her tendency to stop reaching for her goals once she got 80% of the way there.
In other words, if she were running a marathon, she'd get to mile 20 on the track, stop and say, "Good enough!" And head on home.
But the problem is, she doesn't genuinely feel like it's good enough. After she gets off the track, she beats herself up, feeling like a failure and wondering why on earth she couldn't just power through that last 20%.

We've all been there, right?
You get that initial spark of motivation that comes from a new year, an upcoming beach vacation, or a spark of an amazing idea.
And then you go to work on your gym habit, or you start the diet, or you start heavily researching how to launch that Etsy shop or how to publish your own book.
You're energized by your new goal and are sprinting towards the possibilities your future holds.
But then something happens. You're d...

So, you want to know why you're dragging and lagging, even though you consistently get 7-8 hours of shut eye...
I totally get your frustration, that used to be me. I could get 12 hours of sleep and still practically be holding my eyes open.
I was desperate for an answer. I was young, I ate healthier than most people my age, I exercised; there was no obvious reason for this chronic exhaustion I was facing.
I was willing to do whatever it...

I have a confession to make.
I am an absolute, 100%, self-help junkie. And I have been this way for as long as I can remember.
I mean we're talking about buying confidence-building books in middle school while all my friends were enjoying tween magazines and vampire romance novels.
But I'll be honest, while I loved reading anything personal development I could get my hands on, it wasn't penetrating my daily life.
I would get all amped up about speaking up and being heard, and then an hour later I'd ...
